Home Sweet Home at Morven Park
This family-oriented tour of the Gov. Westmoreland Davis mansion focuses on the home’s architecture and construction (parts of which date back to 1780). After touring the home (decorated for a 1920s-era holiday season), guests will build their own gingerbread-style cookie and candy creations, using what they’ve learned about historic architecture.
17263 Southern Planter Ln
Purchased in 1903 by Westmoreland and Marguerite Davis, Morven Park encompasses over 1,000 acres of gardens, fields, lawns and wooded areas. Honoring Mrs. Davis' vision, the site now hosts over 100,000 visitors each year who attend equestrian events, special activities, guided tours and educational programs.
